We have been travelers and passionate about the Baja California peninsula for more than 30 years. As a remembrance of those experiences lived during those trips, we write our Notas de la Península using malt, yeast, hops and water; poets of malt we are!
We are ludic beings, beings that play! And we continue to play with those ancient elements, with our experiences, dreams, memories and inspirations and so our Peninsula Notes accumulated to form a compendium of experiences and memories – a MEMORANDUM!
This is how in 2021 the Memorandum Brauhaus brand was born (Brauhaus is brewery house in German) in La Paz, being a 100% local, artisanal, independent and cool company.
Our distinctive feature is that apart from the well-known American styles we brew authentic European styles of beers, especially German but also Czech and English, using European malts and hops.
Our brand is conceived as a tribute to the Baja California peninsula and its people and is inspired by its history, culture and nature, and especially the diversity of its ecosystems.
We dedicate our brand to all those people committed to conserving, protecting and disseminating the natural and cultural treasures of our peninsula. Each of our labels is associated with a different ecosystem on the peninsula and we support conservation and dissemination projects for those same ecosystems.
